Memorial services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday for Berneice A. Rowe, 82, a Gardnerville resident for 40 years. Visitation will be noon until 2 p.m. Sunday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.
Memorial services will be at Valley Christian Fellowship, 974 Tillman Lane, in Gardnerville. The funeral service is 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Lemke Funeral Home in Clinton, Iowa. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery in Clinton, Iowa.
Born Dec. 4, 1919 in Clinton, Iowa, to Roland and Edna Miles Calhoun, she was a homemaker.
She enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed gardening.
She was preceded in death by husband, William Rowe in 1955; a brother, Louis Simpson in 1944 and a son, Harvey Quick, who died in 1983.
She is survived by two sons, Roger Quick of California and Lanny Quick of Illinois; three daughters, Judy Mays of Stockton, Calif., Barbara French of Gardnerville, and Vicki Courington of Michigan; three brothers, Gary Calhoun of Illinois, Bill Simpson of Iowa and Stanley Calhoun of Iowa; two sisters, Robert Wernick of Michigan and Leona Sebben of Illinois; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home in Carson City is in charge of arrangements.
