Suspects to be arraigned in Bellagio heist

LAS VEGAS - Two men suspected in a string of casino heists will be arraigned Monday on charges they robbed the Bellagio hotel-casino of $160,000.

Oscar Sanchez Cisneros, 23, and Jose Manuel Vigoa, 40, were arrested June 7 as suspects in the Bellagio robbery and other holdups at New York-New York, Mandalay Bay, the Desert Inn and the MGM Grand. A criminal complaint filed Friday includes charges stemming only from the June 3 Bellagio robbery.

Deputy District Attorney Frank Coumou said authorities will continue to evaluate evidence gathered in connection with the other holdups. More charges could be filed, he said.

Henderson police have identified the pair as suspects in the March 3 armored truck robbery outside a Ross Dress For Less. Two guards were killed in that heist. However, no charges have been filed in connection with the robbery.

Las Vegas police are still searching for a third man believed to have participated in the Bellagio robbery.
