Obituary: Mary Willis

Mary Nell Willis, 75, a Dayton resident, died March 16, 2000, at her home. She was born Nov. 23, 1924, in Ashville, N.C., to Judson and Nellie Pendland Watts.

Before moving to Dayton, she lived in Sparks for 35 years.

Mrs. Willis worked at Sierra Health Care Center in Sparks as a dietitian assistant and cook for many years. She was a member of Friends of the Quilt and she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Among her survivors are her sons David of Dayton and Raymond of Baker City, Ore.; daughters Pat of Biloxi, Miss., and Hannah of Sun Valley; sisters Edna Edmonds of Ashville and Bernice Sluder of Statesville, N.C., and five grandchildren.

No service is scheduled at this time.

Cremation will be at Walton's Carson Sierra Crematory.

Memorial contributions may be made in Ms. Willis' name to a charity of choice.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
