Oscar Willis, Jr., 78, died in San Francisco, Calif., Sept. 7, 2000. He was born Aug. 7, 1922, in Ashville, NC.
Mr. Willis was a naval aviator in World War II and then served 25 years as a communications specialist in the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his younger sister Mary.
Among his survivors are his daughters Pat Willis of Biloxi, Miss., Hannah Willis of Sun Valley and sons Raymond of Baker City, Ore. and David of Dayton.
No service is scheduled.
Cremation will be at Walton's Funeral Home.
Internment will be at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley.
