Obituary: Marguerite H. Funk

A memorial service for Marguerite H. Funk, 79, a Gardnerville resident, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Lone Mountain Cemetery.

Mrs. Funk died May 25 in Olympia, Wash.

Mrs. Funk was a longtime resident of the Kingslane Mobile Home community, moving to the area in the early 1970s. She was head cashier at the Outdoorsman Store at South Lake Tahoe and also worked at the Carson City store.

She is survived by her daughter Janice Murphy of South Lake Tahoe; son, Bill Funk of Olympia and grandchildren Tammy and Michael Murphy of South Lake Tahoe and Ronelle Kaplowitz and Vince Funk of Olympia.

Mrs. Funk will be buried next to her husband Wilton (Bill) Funk in the military section of the Lone Mountain Cemetery.
