Mick Jagger sings farewell for his mother

LONDON - Mick Jagger joined in song with his Rolling Stones bandmates Friday at the funeral of his mother, Eva.

Mourners, including Jagger and fellow Stones Keith Richards, Ron Wood and Charlie Watts, sang the gospel song ''Will the Circle Be Unbroken'' during the funeral service at St. Andrew's Church in Ham, on the southwestern outskirts of London.

Some 200 mourners joined Jagger, his father, Joe, and brother Chris in paying tribute to Eva Jagger, who died May 18 in London at age 87.

Mick Jagger was accompanied by his former partner, model Jerry Hall, and their four children. His former wife, Bianca, and their daughter, Jade Jagger, also were among the mourners.

At a reception after the church service and cremation, 88-year-old Joe Jagger paid tribute to his wife in a speech.

Mick flew back to Britain from the Cannes Film Festival last week when he learned of his mother's death. Eva Jagger was last seen in public in March, attending the opening of a $3.4 million arts center named after Mick by his old school.
