The Nevada volleyball team sustain a heartbreaking, five-game loss to rival UNLV Wednesday in Las Vegas.
UNLV (5-17, 4-8 in the Mountain West Conference) defeated Nevada (12-12, 9-4 in the Western Athletic Conference) 15-8, 15-13, 8-15, 14-16, 15-12.
Navonna Chambers led Nevada with 19 kills. Shannon Stemler added 16 kills, Michelle More had 15 kills and Tiffany Oliver added 11 kills.
Defensively, Emily Baracco had 21 digls, Suzanne Stonebarger had 19 digs, Stembler had 13 digs and Chambers added 10 digs. Jill Couwenhoven finished with 72 assists. Gardnerville's April Addeo had one kill for the Wolf Pack.
