Nevada swim team trails Nebraska by 25 points

The Nevada women's swim team trailed Nebraska by 25 points heading into Saturday night's events at the Usker Shootout in Lincoln, Neb.


First-place Nebraska had 237 points while second place Nevada had 212 points. UNLV stood in third place, just three points behind the Wolf Pack in the six-team event.


Among those competing for Nevada is Carson City's Brandy Reichardt. She finished the 100-yard butterfly in one minute, 2.1 seconds and the 100 backstroke in 1:01.50.


UNLV still held a slim three-point lead over Nebraska in the men's meet. First-place UNLV had 229 points while second place Nebraska had 226 points. The meet will conclude Sunday.
