Galena soccer camp in July

The Galena High School boys' soccer team will be holding a youth soccer clinic July 25-27 at Galena High School.

The camp is for boys and girls between the ages of 5-14. The cost is $40, and all proceeds will benefit the Galena boys' soccer program.

Galena varsity coach Milko Vasquez will be the camp director, and members of the Galena boys' soccer team will provide further instruction.

Vasquez has 30 years of playing experience and has coached the last 10 years at the high school and semipro level. Several members of Galena's high school team are Olympic Developmental Program players.

Players need to bring a ball, cleats and shinguards. The camps run from 4-7 p.m. on all three days, and space is limited.
