RENO, Nev. - The Red Cross is teaming up with the District Health Department in Reno to provide free HIV testing for AIDS on Friday.
The free testing will be available at the Reno Hilton as part of World AIDS Day.
The free tests, along with information, food and entertainment will run from noon to 8 p.m.
Others participating in the event on behalf of the Northern Nevada Outreach Team include Nevada Hispanic Services and Nevada Urban Indians.
More than 33 million men, women and children are living with AIDS internationally and more than 16 million already have died from the disease.
