Thelma Roberts, 103, died in Carson City, Nevada. She was a long-time resident of both South Lake Tahoe, California, (1951 -1999) and Carson City, Nevada (1999 – 2023). For years, she suffered from the effects of osteoporosis. In her late 90’s, she broke both hips. Her latest injury was a broken pelvis.
Thelma was the daughter of Lorentz Teodor Johan Halvorsen Langaker (1881 – 1980), and Anna Serina Torsteinsdatter Øvre Espedal (1887 – 1954).
Thelma was proceeded in death by her parents, her brother, Edward Harold Longaker (1913-1987), her beloved husband, Kenneth Hosmer Roberts (1913-1994).
Thelma is survived by her son, Ronald L. Roberts, her niece, Mrs. Judy Lee (Tuggle) Endorf.
Thelma’s sweet nature and gentle manner endeared her to all who met her. She leaves behind a community of friends and neighbors who greatly mourn her passing.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 1:00pm at The First Presbyterian Church of Carson City (Division St.)
