NOTICE OF HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dan Swilley has filed a Petition for Admission of Will To Probate, Issuance of Letters Testamentary; and for Authorization to Administer the Estate Under the Independent Administration of Estates Act with Full Authority for the Estate of JOHN HOWLAND SIMONDS, JR. aka JOHN H. SIMONDS, JR. aka JOHN H. SIMONDS aka JOHN SIMONDS aka JOHN HOWLAND SIMONDS, deceased, and has set the matter for hearing on May 30th, at 1:30 p.m. in Department I of the Ninth Judicial District Court, 1038 Buckeye Road, Minden, Nevada 89423. The matter may be approved without further hearing unless an objection is filed. You do not need to appear unless you wish to object.

The petition requests authority to administer the estate under the Independent Administration of Estates Act. This will avoid the need to obtain court approval for many actions taken in connection with the estate. However, before taking certain actions, the personal representative may be required to give notice to interested persons unless they have waived notice or have consented to the proposed action. Independent administration authority will be granted unless good cause is shown why it should be denied.
