NOTICE! YOU HAVE BEEN SUED. THE COURT MAY DECIDE AGAINST YOU WITHOUT YOUR BEING HEARD UNLESS YOU RESPOND WITHIN 21 DAYS. READ THE INFORMATION BELOW. 

TO THE DEFENDANTS: A civil Complaint has been filed by the Plaintiffs against you for the relief set forth in the Complaint. 

1. If you wish to defend this lawsuit, you must within twenty-one (21) days after this Summons is served on you, exclusive of the day of service, you must do the following: 

a. File with the Clerk of this Court, whose 

address is shown below, a formal written 

response to the Complaint in accordance 

with the rules of the Court; and 

b. Serve a copy of your response upon the 

attorney whose name and address is 

shown below. 

2. Unless you respond, your default will be entered upon application of the Plaintiff, and this Court may enter a judgment against you for the relief requested in the Complaint. 

3. If you intend to seek the advice of an attorney in this matter, you should do so promptly so that your response may be filed on time. 

NATURE OF ACTION: This is a Quiet Title action. The property that is the subject matter of this lawsuit any interest in that property located in Douglas County, Nevada, specifically described as: 

A previously undescribed portion of the original Map of Genoa, said map filed for record at document no. 10 in the office of the Douglas County Recorder, lying entirely within the Southeast One- Quarter of the Northeast One-Quarter of Section 9, Township 13 North, Range 19 East of the Mount Diablo Meridian, Douglas County, Nevada, being more particularly described as follows: 

Commencing at the NE corner of said Map of Genoa, also being the NE corner of said SE 1/4 NE 1/4 of Section 9, marked by a nail in an asphalt driveway per the Subdivision of Sections survey performed by the USBLM and approved on December 20, 2000; 

Thence S 89°36’20”W along the North line of said Map of Genoa and said SE 1/4 NE 1/4 of Section 9 a distance of 639.51 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING being marked by a 5/8 inch rebar with plastic cap bearing the PLS no. 18297; 

Thence S 18°50’58”W along the Westerly line of that portion of Genoa Street previously vacated and abandoned by that certain instrument filed for record at document no. 220661 in said Douglas County records a distance of 23.01 feet to the point of intersection of the Northerly line of First Street and the Westerly line of Genoa Street being marked by a 5/8 inch rebar with plastic cap bearing the PLS no. 6200; 

Thence N 69°29’ 42”W along the Northerly line of New Parcel 1, as shown on the Record of Survey to Support a Court Ordered Lot Line Adjustment as filed for record at document no. 476243 in said Douglas County records a distance of 60.91 feet to a 5/8 inch rebar; 

Thence N 89°36’20”E along said North line of the Map of Genoa and the SE 1/4 NE 1/4 of Section 9 a distance of 64.49 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; 

Containing 700 square feet, more or less. 

Basis of Bearings: The North line of the South 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of Section 9, T13N, R19E, as shown on the Record of Survey filed at document no. 476243 (N 89°36’20”E).
