Carson Valley Little League's 12U All-Stars are headed to the state tournament after taking down Washoe, 1-0, last weekend.
The one run came courtesy of a solo home run from Brock Tholen.
On the bump, Jace Burtt struck out 13 batters over 5.2 innings of work and threw 15 first pitch strikes.
En route to the finals, Carson Valley beat Reno National (4-3), Reno Continental (7-3), and Carson (5-2) before taking down Washoe.
