Nominations are open for the annual Women in History Remembering Project in March at the Carson Valley Museum and Cultural Center, 1477 Main St., Suite B, Gardnerville.

Forms may be online at historicnv.org.

“March will be here before we know it,” organizers said.

Nominees must have lived in Douglas County and contributed to its history at some point in time.

“This is a program to recognize women of the past for making historical advances in our county,” Curator Linda Reid said.

If you have any questions and would like to nominate someone, contact Reid at 775-450-5352.
