Mobile Outreach Safety Team doubles coverage

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday that the Mobile Outreach Safety Team is expanding from two days to four days a week.

The team is comprised of a mental health professional and a deputy who form a mobile crisis response team.

The team contacts community members who may need help with mental health assistance and social services resources.
