GRGID INTERCEPTOR PROJECT

NOTICE TO CONSTRUCTION MANAGERS AT RISK:

The Minden Gardnerville Sanitation District Board of Trustees

invites sealed proposals for the project entitled GRGID Interceptor

Project, to be received at the Resource Concepts, Inc. office, located

at 340 N. Minnesota Street, Carson City, NV 89703, until 2:00 P.M.

local time on Thursday, June 10, 2021. This request for proposals is to

solicit a Construction Manager at Risk to provide experienced and expert

services for the project.

The project is in Gardnerville, Nevada as shown on the project plans.

The scope of work involves rehabilitation of thirty-seven (37) existing 60-

inch diameter sanitary sewer manholes, lining approximately 12,160 LF

of existing sanitary sewer main. The manholes range in depths from 6.5’-

17’ deep, and the sewer mains range in diameter and material, including

cement lined cast iron pipe, and asbestos cement pipe. Manhole

Rehabilitation work includes interior concrete surface preparation and

repairs, application of a rigid polyurethane coating system, and roadway

surface finish repairs if necessary. Sewer main lining work anticipates a

“Cured-in-Place Pipe”, lining installation & curing process, and restoring

lateral connections. All work is to be conducted while maintaining the

operation of the system, with appropriate

bypass procedures. The project includes all associated traffic control and

securing all Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) and Douglas

County Permits & Inspections, which will include preparation of traffic

control plans. MGSD retains the right to modify the scope of the project.

Total Estimated Construction Budget: $ 3,350,000.00

CONSTRUCTION MANAGERS AT RISK SERVICES:

Pre-construction design assistance, budget verification, value

engineering analysis, scheduling, phasing, and execution logistics.

Providing bidding assistance with a Guaranteed Maximum Price in

accordance with NRS 338.1696. Construction schedule and staging

review, recommendations for temporary bypass pumping, project cost

analysis, and coordinated phasing with Owner’s budget. Construction

management and completion once a contract is executed.

APPROXIMATE SCHEDULE

Non-mandatory pre-submittal meeting will be held at 10:00 A.M. on

Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at the Minden Gardnerville Sanitation

District Office. (1790 U.S. Highway 395)

Interviews of short-listed CMAR Contractors is June 23, 2021.

Pre–Construction services is July 13, 2021 through October 30, 2021

Construction Start for Phase 1 (River Crossing) is November 15, 2021

Monday, May 17, 2021, and may be obtained electronically, upon

must be received at the ENGINEERS’s office located at 340 N.
