Request for Applicants
The Douglas County Board of Commissioners is currently accepting applications for
appointments to the following advisory board:
Vacation Home Rental (VHR) Advisory Board
The function of the VHR Advisory Board shall be to hear enforcement
appeals filed by VHR owners, consider applications for VHR special use
permits for Tier three (3) VHR rentals, and to render advice to the Board
of County Commissioners on proposed changes to the program.
All applicants must be residents of the Tahoe Township, a majority of
which shall not be current VHR permit holders. Additional information and
application forms are available in the County Manager’s Office in the Minden Inn,
1594 Esmeralda Avenue in Minden (782-9821) or on the Douglas County website:
www.douglascountynv.gov.
Application Deadline: Wednesday, May 26, 2021.
(Appointments will be made at a Douglas County Commissioner’s Meeting,
Thursday, June 3, 2021.)
