Matthew Sigafoos shut down the Carson High baseball team, pitching Damonte Ranch to a 9-0 win on Tuesday night at Ron McNutt Field.
Sigafoos allowed five hits, with seven strikeouts against one walk in six innings. Tyler Hopper threw one inning in relief for Damonte.
Jade Stotts, Casey Martensen, Justin Nussbaumer, Bryce Baker, Kenny Aydelott, and Kahle Good all had one hit for Carson.
