Mary Brady

October 7, 1961 ~ April 8, 2019

Mary Alicia (Baldwin) Brady, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2019 at her home with her husband by her side, after a seven-year courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Mary was born October 7, 1961 in Fallon to Lavinos and Tillie (Graham) Baldwin.

A servant of Jesus Christ from 1982 and faithful to her Lord and husband of 43 years. Mary loved children, in fact if there were a group of people and one child, she would take the time to talk to the child before the adults. She raised two strong children with her husband Kevin Brady of 43 years.

She left Fallon in 1975 to start a life with Kevin in the Austin / Reese River Valley. She loved the outdoors, and used nature to create memorable art such as designed gardens and ponds. Church, Kevin, Music, Dancing and children were her focus.

Mary later returned to Fallon to be closer to Reno for treatments where she picked up pottery work. She even created a business in faith “Creative Clays” while she was battling cancer, a business in which her family will continue. She began her fight with Ovarian Cancer in 2012, with many surgeries and treatments to follow, Mary never let cancer define who she was even till the end when she lost her fight she never gave credit to cancer but to God for giving her more time to make memories. Beautiful to the end.
