WASHOE VALLEY: Highway 395 ALT is now open in both directions after a wildfire closed the highway from Eastlake to Bellevue. @nevadadot

According to the Truckee Meadows Fire Department, structures are threatened. Evacuations are ongoing from High Camp Court off Franktown to Old 395 and east to List Country Road. Residents can go to the small gym at Galena High School. It's burning near the intersection of I-580 and Old 395. It started about 3 p.m. Old U.S. 395 is closed between Bellevue and East Lake Boulevard in Washoe Valley.UPDATE: No further assistance is required for those with horse/livestock trailers. Thank you to all that were willing to step up. Continue to avoid the area and do not stop along the Highway to take photos/videos. Let first responders dedicate their resources to the incident.
