A longtime Fallon resident Margie Shepard, 85, passed away peacefully at her beloved home on Thursday, July 26th, 2018, with her family by her side.
Margie was born October 20, 1932 in Pleasanton, Ca to Louis & Clara Casterson. She moved to Fallon in 1957 where she raised her 5 children.
She retired from the Fallon Postal Service in 1997. She has owned the Dairy Queen since 1987.
Some of her passions were: farming, horses, cows, painting, craft fairs, soap operas, and enjoying her family. She was an Extremely Loving mother, who loved her grandchildren, great grandchildren and brothers very much.
Margie is survived by her 2 brothers Ronnie (Donna) and Clyde Casterson; her 5 children Scotty (Joleen), Linda (Woody), Grace (Danny),Ginger (Mark), Patti (Sean); her 12 grandchildren, Heidi, Christian, Darity, Chelsi, Kami, Casidy, Calli, Corbi, Kloei, Blair, Bryli and Rhys; and her 14 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at her family farm in Fallon, Nv on Saturday, August 4th 2018 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.
