City National names regional relationship manager

City National Bank hired Stacy Asteriadis as relationship manager for its Northern Nevada branches in Reno, Carson City and Minden.

Asteriadis is a longtime resident of Northern Nevada who joins City National from Axia Home Loans with nearly 35 years of experience in the banking and financial services industries.

In her new position with City National, Asteriadis will be responsible for developing and managing new and existing client relationships through referral and calling efforts. Asteriadis will work closely with other areas of the bank, such as private and commercial banking, and will network through civic and trade organizations to generate new business opportunities and promote City National’s brand and value proposition.

With responsibilities for all of the bank’s Northern Nevada branches, Asteriadis will report to Lori Haney, senior vice president, Carson City branch manager and Northern Nevada market manager for City National. She will also work closely with Kim Bartlett, manager of the bank’s Reno branch, and Ursula Prebezac, manager of the bank’s Minden banking office.

Prior to joining City National, Asteriadis served as a licensed mortgage loan originator for Axia Home Loans and client advisory associate with Whittier Trust Company. She has spent her entire professional career in the Reno market working for a variety of financial services firms and companies.

Asteriadis is a graduate of the University of Phoenix in Reno with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. She also attended the Cannon Financial Institute at Pepperdine University where she completed and mastered in Personal Trust I, II and III. Asteriadis holds several current certifications including Certified Trust and Financial Advisory (CFTA) designation, and Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist (CMPS) certification.

Asteriadis is active in the community serving as a member or volunteer of various trade and nonprofit organizations. She’s a member of the Reno Rotary and Reno/Sparks Association of Realtors, and volunteers regularly for the Northern Nevada MS Society, Race for the Cure, and the American Heart Association.
