Health inspection of local restaurant troubling
As always, I read the health reports published on a regular basis by the Nevada Appeal. They are most helpful when deciding on an eating establishment here in Carson City.
Some of the reports are very disturbing and have received many violations. The Cracker Box report on April 26 is shocking — 71 points.
Does the Health Department have the authority to close the restaurant temporarily or permanently until the violations are addressed? Maybe the whole system needs reevaluating from owners, employees and equipment.
