JC cornerback commits to Nevada

The Nevada football team continues to add to its list of California players who have committed to the program for 2018 as Nathaniel Vaughn, a cornerback from El Camino Community College in Torrance, Calif., verbally committed to the Pack on Saturday, Scout.com reported.

The 6-1, 180-pound Vaughn had 44 tackles and three interceptions last season as a freshman for El Camino. Nevada has now received commitments from six California players for 2018. The others are all high school players: 3-star quarterback Carson Strong from Vacaville, Calif., 3-star receiver Kashawn Griffin from Apple Valley, Calif., 2-star offensive tackle Wyatt Bowles from Syracuse, Utah, 2-star athlete Patrick Willis from Crenshaw in Los Angeles and 3-star offensive guard Kevin Coblentz from St. John Bosco in Southern California.
