Elections have consequences

In response to the nasty Trump-bashing letters to the editor published on Feb. 11 and 12, I would like to thank the letter writers for providing further indisputable evidence that liberalism is indeed a mental disorder.

Interestingly, there was no mention of the innumerable lies, dishonest shenanigans, and other despicable things perpetrated by the previous administration. It’s laughable that the liberals can’t understand, or just won’t accept, why Trump was elected.

People across the country were sick and tired and completely fed up with the anti-American, anti-Christian, anti-sovereignty, socialist/communist ideology of the left.

In addition, the “popular vote” is an invalid argument given the extremely high concentration in New York and California, of America haters, illegal aliens, lunatics, anarchists, and heretics. If a national vote was taken to exclude those two states from voting, it would probably pass.

In his first term, President Obama told the Republicans they were welcome to come on the ride, but go to the back of the bus. I would advise the liberals to now do the same for the next eight to 16 years.

Moreover, the left needs to acknowledge it has lost more than 1,000 state congressional seats and many governorships over the last eight years. So please tone down the vitriolic rhetoric, or better yet, sit down and shut up.
