The state of Nevada is celebrating children’s mental health awareness by holding a free Family Fun Fair sponsored by Sierra Nevada Forums. The event will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. May 7 at the Brewery Arts Center.
From 2 to 3 p.m. those attending can browse resource tables providing information on how to support healthy and happy children. At 3 p.m., the movie “Inside Out,” which provides a lesson on children’s emotions, will be shown in the Performance Theater.
Free popcorn, snacks and free flip flops for children will also be provided at the event.
