Carson City road report for April 3-9, 2017

The following information applies to the period of April 3-9:

Stewart Street will have single lane closures between Fifth and Carson streets from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday.

Lane closures or restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work. Drivers are asked to use caution:

U.S. 50 at the U.S. 395 intersection will be reduced to one lane in each direction for approximately three weeks for freeway improvements.

South Carson Street between Clear Creek and Snyder avenues will have the northbound travel lanes reduced to two lanes from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

South Carson Street between Clear Creek and Snyder avenues will have the southbound travel lanes reduced to two lanes from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. weekdays.

South Curry Street between Rhodes Street and Lake Glen Drive will be reduced to one lane with flaggers from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Wednesday.

Flood related activities at the following locations are underway; drivers are asked to use caution near work crews:

Combs Canyon Road between Vista Ariana Drive and Lakeview Road will be reduced to one lane with flaggers from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Kings Canyon Road between Longview Way and Custer Circle will be reduced to one lane with flaggers from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday.

Rhodes Street from Curry Street west will have work crews periodically from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays.

A closure is planned at Heybourne and Buckeye roads in Minden from 10 a.m. Tuesday to 2 p.m. Thursday.
