Michael A. Glenn, born Saturday, May 28, 1949 in Glendale, California, passed away peacefully with family at his side on Saturday, September 10, 2016. Michael joined the United States Navy in 1968. He served for 27 years, retiring as a CWO3, and visited over twenty countries throughout his naval career. After retiring from the Navy, he enjoyed a second career of 15 years with Skagit Farmers Supply, first serving as the Credit Manager, and then as the Construction Project Manager. He loved spending time with family, tending to a beautiful rose garden, going on adventures on his motorcycle, boating, fishing, cooking, construction, and woodworking. Michael is survived by his wife, son, daughter, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, three grandchildren, two sisters, and one brother. Preceding Michael, in death, are his parents, John and Miriam Glenn of Marla Bay, Lake Tahoe, NV.
A private Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends. The family suggests memorials be sent to the ALS Association - Evergreen Chapter (19226 66th Avenue S., #L-105, Kent, WA 98032). Arrangements entrusted to Wallin Funeral Home, Oak Harbor, WA.
