Marion was born in Thalia, TX on June 8, 1927, and passed away in Carson City, NV on October 24, 2016.
Marion loved her family; she was a gifted pianist, cake decorator, seamstress and enjoyed ballroom dancing with her late husband William. She and her husband moved to Carson City from Monrovia, CA over 20 years ago.
Marion is survived by her children, Teresa Fontenot, Kathleen Jones (Charles), Michael Bettridge (Ryoko), Gregory Bettridge (Laurie), Phyllis McLellan (Michael) and Daniel Bettridge (Joyce). Twenty grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
Friends are invited to the Recitation of the Rosary at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Walton’s Chapel of the Valley 1281 N. Roop St. Carson City with the Funeral Mass being held at 10:00a.m. on Monday, November 7, 2016 at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church 3000 N. Lompa Lane.
Marion will be laid to rest with her husband William at the Lone Mountain Cemetery.
