Our loving mother Carol Ann Roethig (Hoglund), 81, passed away at her home on September 30th, 2016 in Carson City, Nevada.
Carol was born in Mellen, WI on December 24, 1934 to John and Winifred (Weir) Hoglund. Carol graduated high school in Mellen, WI in 1952. She was united in marriage to Ronald Roethig on September 22, 1955. She is preceded in death by her brother James Hoglund (Florence) of Mason, WI.
She is survived by her daughter Tamara Roethig-Burke (Tom) of Carson City, NV; her sons, Lawrence Roethig of Tulsa, Ok, Gerald Roethig (Tamara) of Chelsea, AL, Timothy Roethig (Tom) of Omaha, NE; her ex-husband Ronald Roethig of Surprise, AZ; and her brother John Hoglund (Nancy) of New Carrollton, MD. Carol was a proud grandmother of eight and great grandmother of five.
A private family memorial will be held.
Memorials donations are preferred by the family to the National Parkinson Foundation www.parkinson.org
Arrangements were in the care of Autumn Funerals & Cremations.
