Western Nevada College baseball moves series to Salt Lake

A wet weekend forecast in Northern Nevada has caused the Western Nevada College baseball team to move its upcoming four-game baseball series from Carson City to Salt Lake City.

WNC will play doubleheaders against Salt Lake at 1 p.m. Friday and noon Saturday.

As a result of the switch, the clubs will now meet in Carson City on April 15 and 16.

Last weekend, the Wildcats swept a four-game series from College of Southern Idaho at John L. Harvey Field, while the Bruins took three of four games from Utah State University Eastern. WNC is tied with College of Southern Nevada at the top of the Scenic West Athletic Conference.

WNC softball also will be in Salt Lake this weekend.
