Andy Hansen, 34, died May 29, 2016 in Fallon, Nevada as the result of a car accident. Andy was born May 4, 1982 in Fallon to Chris and Karen Hansen. He attended Churchill County Schools, graduating in 2001. Andy was a long-time

employee of High Sierra Industries, working at NAS Fallon for the past 13 years. His biggest joy in life was getting up every morning and going to work early to have a cup of coffee before work. He loved his work, coworkers, and supervisors at HSI. He was dedicated to work, never taking sick leave or vacation unless he had to. Andy appreciated all of the kindness shown to him by his teachers, friends, relatives, co-workers, and especially the supervisors at HSI. He loved camping in his 1970 Aloha travel trailer with his girlfriend Nicole Rowe, his friend Alan Fudge, and his dog Mandy. He enjoyed and participated in Special Olympics for many years. Andy was a shining example of what a person with disabilities could achieve. Andy will be remembered for his smile and giant wave and especially his kindness and generosity to others. He will be deeply missed by all of his friends, family, and all who met him.

Andy is survived by his mother and father, Chris and Karen, grandparents, Frank and Florence Hultgren, aunts and uncles, Steve Hansen, Jan Kelly, Colleen Palludan, Janet and John Probst, cousins, Trisha, Cami , Travis, Jeff, Doug, Eileen, Johnny, Kerry, John and others. A gathering of friends and family for Andy will be held at the home of Chris and Karen Hansen on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Donations in Andy’s memory may be made to
