Carson City road report for Jan. 18-24

The following information applies to the period of Jan. 18-24.

Utility work will continue from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays at the following locations, with possible flagger controlled traffic:

Division Street between Fleischmann Way and Long Street; road will be closed to through traffic Monday through Wednesday, weather permitting

Long Street between Mountain and Division streets; road will be closed to through traffic Wednesday through Friday, weather permitting

Mountain Street between Fleischmann Way and Long Street

Fleischmann Way between Mountain and Division streets

Sierra Circle, Hillside Way, Miller Way, Pine View Way, and Lane Circle

Washington Street will be closed to through traffic between Curry and Phillips streets weekdays due to the construction of the East/West Water Transmission Project.

Beginning Monday, Jan. 18, through Friday, Jan. 22, Ann Street between Minnesota and Division streets will be closed to through traffic during daytime hours, as well as the intersection of Minnesota and Ann streets. Detours will be signed. In addition, there will be a lane closure at the intersection of Division and Ann streets Wednesday through Friday, with flagger controlled traffic.

Telegraph and Proctor streets will be closed to through traffic between Carson and Nevada streets weekdays during daytime hours due to utility work. In addition, there will be limited parking on Curry Street between Spear and Proctor streets during this time.

Race Track Road will be closed to through traffic between Bigelow and Schulz drives for the week.

There will be intermittent lane closures with two-way traffic maintained at the following locations due to utility work, weather permitting:

Presti Lane just north of Eagle Valley Ranch Road

Conte Drive just north of Bennett Avenue

Morgan Mill Road between Empire Ranch and Deer Run roads

Walsh Street between Proctor and Telegraph streets

Intersection of Anderson and Spear streets shoulder work only

Mountain Street between King and Washington streets, shoulder work only
