Joy Burgess Bailey, Jr.

Joy Burgess Bailey, Jr. passed away December 26, 2015 at Northern Nevada Medical center in Sparks, Nevada with his family present. He was the son of Ella and J.B. Bailey Sr., born April 12, 1928 in Sante Fe, New Mexico. He was a World War II Navy Veteran. He and his wife moved to Fallon soon after they were married. He established Bailey Photos of Fallon and retired from that business and continued to live in Fallon and enjoyed various activities. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Shirley Jean, sons Daniel of Sparks and Richard of Reno; sisters Gaye Johnston of Fallon, Eva Wilborn of Lordsburg, New Mexico; and numerous nieces and nephews. J.B. was preceded in death by his parents; Brother Hugh Bailey; and Sister Beth Lafky. Per his request, a private service will be held at Northern Nevada Veteran’s Cemetery.
