RENO — Carson High grad Jennifer Purcell hit two two-run homers to lead Nevada to a 4-0 Mountain West Conference softball win over New Mexico Saturday at Hixson Park.
Purcell connected off Krissy Fortner in the fourth and sixth innings to help Nevada improve to 25-7 overall and 6-2 in conference. McKenna Isenberg blanked the Lobos on four hits.
