Lorraine Case

Lorraine passed away at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson, CA on August 11, 2015. Lorraine was born, in Stockton, on October 14, 1918 to Julius and Edith Defosset. She later met and married, Larnard Case, who would be her loving husband for 70 years. They made their home in Modesto and raised four children. They later moved to Lake Tahoe and then to Carson City to retire. Lorraine was a creatively talented seamstress and was employed by Harvey’s Resort as head seamstress. She also very much enjoyed painting as one of her many hobbies. Lorraine is preceeded in death by her husband, Larnard. She is survived by her sister, Joan Small, Modesto, CA; her son, Loren Case, Hilmar, CA; her daughters, Lorene (Gene) Wilkinson, Dayton, NV; Lorette Myers (Bill) Electric City, WA; Lorelle Chorkey, Minden, NV; and 43 grand, great-grand, and great-great grandchildren. There will be a private family service.
