Stewart “Stew” John Evans

“Stew” passed away at his home in Carson City. Survived by his wife Joy Evans, daughter Krista Evans, step-daughter Randee Rule and 5 grandchildren. He spent his earlier years serving in the army where after he graduated from the Diamond Cutting School in Gardnerville to become an accomplished turquoise jeweler. You may know him from his work along side his wife helping run a wagon-train back country trip, volunteer work with various Nevada celebrations, the golf coarse, or he may have even sold you a car. But he will forever be in our hearts as a loving husband, adored father, captivating grandfather, and dedicated friend. A Celebration of life Ceremony will be held at the home he loved on April 4th 2015 at 3:00pm.
