Dean Randall Schlitz

Dean Randall Schlitz passed away at home in Fallon unexpectedly on December 21, 2015. Dean was born in Whittier, California on January 15, 1954 to JoAnn and Eric Schlitz. He graduated from Pioneer High School in Whittier. He with his brother used to build motorcycles at home and later Dean went to work as a maintenance mechanic at Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. in South Gate, California. Dean moved to Fallon where he went to work for a time for Churchill County, later taking a job at Walmart where he had worked for seventeen years. Dean is survived by his parents, Eric and JoAnn; brother and sister-in-law, Eric Jr. and Marsha and sister, Marie; his beloved Chris and her family and his dear friend, Paul Veach. A Celebration of Dean’s life will be Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at The Gardens Chapel at 11:00 am.
