Jay Orvis, 67, of Mesquite, NV., passed away on September 28, 2015. He was born on January 6, 1948 in Grass Valley, CA. During his lifetime he lived in California and Nevada. He resided in Mesquite, NV., for the last four years of his life. He retired after 30 years of service from the U.S. Forest Service. A Celebration of Jay’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at the Holiday Inn Express, 1030 W. Pioneer Blvd., Mesquite, NV.
