Deloris “Lois” Jean Shields

Lois was born in Bedford, Indiana on April 6, 1934, the daughter of the late George E. and Grace M. Lawson of Fallon, Nevada. She passed away November 28, 2015, at home surrounded by her family. In addition to her parents, Lois is survived by her husband Mike Shields of Auburn, California, daughter Debra (David) Bauer of Granite Bay, California, son Michael C. Shields of Spanish Springs, Nevada, grandsons Brian D. Bauer and Steven M. Bauer, Sacramento, California and by her sister Ruby (Jim) Pearrell, Idaho Falls, Idaho. Lois moved with her family to Fallon, Nevada at the age of 8 years. She was married in St. Patrick’s Parish, Fallon, Nevada to Mike, the love of her life for nearly 63 years. She raised her children in admonition of the Lord, loving and serving her family faithfully. A virtuous woman, she will be forever in our hearts. Celebration of her life will be Wednesday, December 9, 11:00 a.m., at St. Patrick’s Catholic Parish, 850 W. 4th St., Fallon, NV.
