Victoria Linn Hudak

Vicki passed away August 15, 2014 following a brief terminal illness. She was born in Mansfield, Ohio to John and Dianna Wheaton and was preceded in death by her mother. Vicki attended Ohio State University and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. She was working as a traveling nurse when she met her husband Kyle in Virginia Beach, Virginia. They married in 1988 and moved to Nevada. They have made Carson City their home, together with their two daughters, Avery (19) and Lauren (16). Vicki’s life was centered on her work and family activities; sports, soccer, running, horses and horse shows. She loved the outdoors including hikes and camping in the mountains. She continued working in the health care profession and most recently worked as a Care Manager for United Healthcare. She and her family are active in The Fountainhead Foursquare Church. Vicki leaves behind her father and step-mother, John and Carol Wheaton, her sister, Tina Zimmerman and family, her brother, John Wheaton and family, and many beloved aunts and uncles in Ohio. Her passing touches many brother and sisters-in-law, cousins, friends and neighbors. Vicki’s bright personality and strong spirit will be sorely missed.
