DAYTON — Gusty high winds forced PGA Tour officials to postpone Wednesday’s scheduled second round of the Web.com Tour Qualifying tournament at Dayton Valley Golf Club.

Play will resume at 7:45 a.m. today off both the first and 10th tees.

Second round play on Wednesday was delayed from a scheduled 9 a.m. start until noon. High winds came up again and officials stopped play for the day at 1:15 p.m.

Officials plan to play 27 holes on Thursday and 27 holes on Friday to complete the 72-hole tournament.

Players will complete 18-hole second round play today and there will be a break for new pairings to be made and new holes cut on the greens.

The field will complete nine holes of third round play and come back Friday morning to complete those rounds.

The fourth and final round will then be played following a similar break for pairings and new holes to be cut.
