Carson City Road Report for Oct. 13-19

The following information applies to the period of Oct. 13-19:

Street sealing will continue between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. from Monday, Oct. 13, through Wednesday, Oct. 15, in an area bounded by Hells Bells and Carson River roads on the north and west and Marsh and Buzzys Ranch roads on the south and east.

There will be work primarily in the shoulder E. Fifth Street from Roop Street to Saliman Road from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. from Monday, Oct. 13, through Thursday, Oct. 16. As part of the same project, Elaine Street will be closed to through traffic from Monday, Oct. 13, through Sunday, Oct. 19. Follow the marked detour.

One southbound lane will be closed on Carson Street between Telegraph and Proctor streets on Tuesday, Oct. 14, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. due to the installation of a sign on a building.

The Nevada Department of Transportation will continue road work on Highway 50 from Arrowhead Drive in Carson City to Baldwin Lane in Mound House. There will be single lane closures on weeknights from 1 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. in the westbound direction and from 7 p.m. to 11 a.m. in the eastbound direction.

There will be shoulder work on W. Washington Street just east of Ormsby Boulevard from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 13, and Tuesday, Oct. 14.

The northbound left turn lane of Carson Street at Hot Springs Road will be closed from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 13.

There will be utility work in the shoulder at the following locations from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday with no delays expected:
