The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

TUESDAY

• At 7:59 p.m., Ashley Ambrose, 29, was arrested on suspicion of grand larceny and obstructing an officer after Walmart security reported she tried to leave the store with a shopping cart full of items without paying. The total value of the items in the cart was reported as $1,100. She was arrested on suspicion of grand larceny and with obstructing an officer for trying to give arresting deputies a false name. She also had a warrant charging failure to appear in a traffic case issued in Reno Justice Court. Total bail was set at $25,412.
