The Stearman biplane was used as a military trainer throughout World War II. The plane along with others are on display today at the Carson City Airport from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Cactus Air Force, LLC in conjunction with the airport are hosting the event to commemorate the 70th anniversary of D-Day.
