She loved working the annual Easter Egg Hunt in Carson City which is where she met her husband, as well as holding many positions in the organization. That magical place was a favorite family destination. Other favorite destinations were Hawaii and New Orleans. The family always enjoyed Christmas together, Arlene made sure that Christmas Eve was especially beautiful as she would spend hours decorating and redecorating the tree, the center piece of her loving home during the holidays. Family was most important to Arlene which was evident in her ability to unconditionally love. She truly was light and love, both of which will go on through her family. Arlene is a beautiful person, and will be sorely missed as we struggle to move on. Services will be held at Shepherd of the Sierra, 3680 US Hwy 395, Friday April 25th, at 10am.
