In no time in the last 20 years has the water been so scarce as in Carson. There was but a little snow last season. The Carson Water Company has as an only source the springs in the mountainside. If only those who carelessly waste water allowing it to run at night would stop, the rest of the community would not suffer.

The weather has taken another turn and snow storms have developed in the mountains, while it is as cool as fall in the valleys.

The leading team in Carson City softball league will be named following tonight’s game between the Ship Bar and Ken’s Flyers. The two teams are ahead of the Rotary Club.

The University of Nevada said today 27 senior graduates made the four-year honor roll. The honor students included Lola Mae Gravitt, Tahoe Valley and David Lance Lippincott, Carson City.
