Obituary: Lucinda Belle Smith

September 8, 1937 - July 18, 2013

Born in Santa Cruz, CA, to Joe and Evelyn Scott, Lucinda grew up in Tulare, CA. She lived and raised a family in Bishop, CA for 41 years and spent her remaining years in Carson City, NV.

Loving mother, wife, sister, and friend, Lucinda was married to Floyd Smith for almost 60 years. She raised four children, and had 14 grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

While a grandmother, Lucinda received a BA degree in Psychology at University of Nevada, Reno. A lover of poetry, she had one of her poems published while attending UNR.

Surrounded by family in death, she will live in our hearts forever.
