Obituary: Virginia Amanda Boteler

Virginia Amanda Boteler, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend passed away peacefully in Carson City, NV on October 4, 2011. She was 87 years young. Born June 25, 1924 in Culver City, CA to Samuel J. Edwardson and Mary Riblet. A proud nurse for 29 years and an active member of the Good Shepherd Wesleyan Church. She is survived by her beloved husband Wade Boteler married for 42 years and children, George S. Clack, Chris Guthrie, David and Ivy Boteler, Linda and John Hobbs, Rickey and Lori Boteler, Patty Ferguson and her only niece, Deborah Williams with numerous, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She made significantly more happy and better places in the eyes and memories of so many. Her selfless giving kindness and generous concern for those in need. Her sweet spirit will be with us always. She was a special gift and will be missed beyond measure. Thanks to all for your supporting loving words which softens our grief.

There will be a visitation Sunday, October 9, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Walton's Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 10, 2011 at 2:00pm at the Good Shepherd Wesleyan Church. Interment will follow at Lone Mountain Cemetery.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of final arrangements.
